CLAIRE RANKIN
TOTS/TINIES & SUBJUNIORS COACH
Claire found a sense of belonging at St Marks when she moved to Melbourne to begin her university studies in 2011. Over the years, she has contributed significantly to the club, coaching a wide range of groups, from Tinies and Subbies to Juniors and Inters, as well as providing specialised training in calisthenic skills and coaching soloists. Beyond St Marks, Claire has shared her passion for calisthenics by teaching recreational classes at kindergartens, primary schools, and various sporting events.
Claire is deeply involved in coach education, mentoring cadets and young coaches at St Marks. Her dedication has been recognised with multiple accolades, including being a finalist for the Calisthenics Victoria Coach of the Year Award in 2024, the Inclusion Coach of the Year Award in 2023, and the Calisthenics Ambassador Award in 2017 for her contributions to both the club and the wider community. She was also honoured with the Club Girl Award in 2012 and the Margaret Paulka Memorial Award in 2017 for her steadfast support of the club.
Having completed her studies, Claire now practices law while continuing to find time to dedicate to her passion for calisthenics whenever possible.

TORIE KILLENDER
JUNIORS COACH
Torie’s calisthenics journey began at the age of 3, and she found her home at St Marks in 2015. Since joining, she has contributed to coaching various levels, including Tinies, Subbies, and Juniors, as well as providing guidance in skills and solos.
In March 2022, Torie achieved her Level 1 coaching qualification, furthering her expertise. During her time in the Juniors and Inters, Torie also represented the Victorian Calisthenics State team for five years. Her dedication was recognised when she was awarded the Club Girl title in 2019.
Looking ahead to 2025, Torie will return as the coach of the Junior team for a second consecutive year while also being an active member of the Senior team.
EBONY PAULKA
INTERMEDIATE COACH
Ebony has been a dedicated member of SMCC for over 30 years. Initially starting as a performer, her passion for calisthenics grew, and with it, her love for coaching.
Throughout her time at SMCC, Ebony has coached across all sections and divisions, including Junior and Inter Championship teams. Her commitment to excellence extended to coaching two Victorian Nationals Teams, and she was honoured with the prestigious VCCA Coach of the Year Award.
Known for her creative vision, Ebony takes great pride in designing routines that her SMCC teams are excited to perform, and that audiences love to watch. Her long-standing dedication to the club continues to be a source of pride, and she will always be proud to be part of SMCC.
SHERIDAN PATERNO
MASTERS COACH
This marks Sheridan's 11th year coaching the St Marks Masters team. Under her leadership, the team has earned multiple accolades, including silver and bronze medals at the Pan Pacific Masters Games on the Gold Coast in 2016, 2018, 2022, and 2024. Additionally, Sheridan has coached State Championship-winning teams in both 2016 and 2023. She has also contributed to other sections of the club, including assisting with the Championship Inters in 2016, and coaching skills, solos, and duos.
A proud life member of SMCC with over 27 years of involvement, Sheridan was honoured to receive the SMCC Club Girl award in 2014. Outside of calisthenics, she works as a Performing Arts teacher, continuing to inspire others with her passion for performance and coaching.
Nicole Stojcevski
SENIORS COACH
Nicole became part of the St Marks family in 2018 and has embraced the club’s spirit ever since. After an impressive 30 years of competing, she recently retired from the competitive stage. With over 10 years of coaching experience, Nicole is excited to take on the role of head coach for the Seniors team in 2025.
Beyond her involvement in calisthenics, Nicole owns a Pole Fitness Studio and enjoys spending quality time with her family and her dog, Peanuts. Her passion for fitness and coaching continues to inspire those around her.
